Beth Jacobs is a member SAG, AFTRA and  Actors Equity. She has performed in numerous plays and musicals and danced professionally with both Ballet and Modern dance companies. Her education and training include such schools as  the Atlanta Ballet (AtlantaGeorgia, full scholarship), Berkshire Ballet (Albany N.Y., scholarship), Boston Ballet, TheBriansky’s, Elizabeth Carol, Felix Smith, Zachary Solov and various (ballet and moderndance) professors at Skidmore College, Joffrey Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, Michael Steel. Modern dance training: most on full scholarship; Bill T. Jones, Lar Lubavitch, Mark Morris, Paul Taylor, Twyla Tharp, and Dan Wagner. Scholarships: for contemporary ballet choreography Skidmore College. Beth’s teaching credits include Adjunct professor, Schenectady County Community College, Columbia Greene Community College,Albany/Berkshire Ballet School., Mohawk Valley Dance Theater, Quest outreach program (Schenectady N.Y.) pre-ballet thru pre-professional across NY State, from north of AlbanyNY thru the southern tier of NY. Substitute Teacher Ballet and Modern dance: AlbanyAcademy for Girls (Albany N.Y.), and Union Collage (Schenectady N.Y.). She has directed, choreographed and was the artistic director for Choreographic Collective, Schenectady, NY.
