Alexander Technique Master Class for Performing Artists

This master class will give performing artists and movers of all levels an opportunity to hone their craft from a different focal awareness.  We will identify internal signaling that occur within the body-mind continuum and then direct these powerful experiential cues and observe the improvement in the Use of the Self.   Group settings, while learning this technique, offer unique insight through witnessing the subtle yet profound shifts in others.  These improved working skills come to life and are seen, felt, and heard through our foundational instrument-our Self.   Participants will have an opportunity for individual hands-on experiences with this unique method under the direction and guidance of MaryBeth; a certified practicing Alexander Technique Teacher who has maintained a private practice at The Meadow in Montgomery NY www.themeadowstudio.com  and has been an ongoing  professional teaching member of the American Society of Alexander Teachers. www.amsatonline.org since 1993.
