This class is for students that have a basic understanding of ballet fundamentals and vocabulary. It is also a great class for the advanced-beginning and more experienced dancers looking to get back in shape or improve their placement, strength and flexibility. This class emphasizes proper alignment, whole-body awareness, and development of the basic understanding of terminology and movement vocabulary. Through the practice of the barre work, center, and movements across the floor, students will gain strength, flexibility, musicality and technique. For those new to ballet, we suggest taking our Introduction to Ballet series first when it is available or ask about privates to prepare for the beginning level.
