Contemporary - Intermediate

Express yourself AND get a great workout in this contemporary dance class that combines modern and jazz dance technique, conditioning, and an uplifting choreographic phrase.  Get a full dance experience that will nurture your body, mind and spirit.  Inspired by the teachings of Lynn Simonson, this class honors the individual, and encourages each student to dance in a way that is anatomically intelligent, respecting the unique parameters of their bodies. Emphasis will be on proper technique, somatic awareness, musicality, and personal expression. 

Wear clothing that is comfortable to move in.  Students can dance barefoot, with socks, or modern/jazz dance footwear.
